I usually paint with high quality acrylic paint on gallery wrapped canvas. Oil paint is also available upon request.
To secure your wedding date, we'll first confirm my availability. Then, we'll have a consultation to discuss your wedding and painting preferences. I'll provide a customized quote with options. Once you choose, I'll send a proposal with a 25% deposit and contract. After signing and payment, your date is secured!
Yes, a 25% deposit is required for all live wedding paintings, watercolor guest portraits, and commission paintings.
About a month before your wedding we will have a quick phone call or email to go over all of the details of your day. On the day of the wedding, I arrive about 45 minutes before I will begin painting to setup. I do require a table from your venue to use if possible.
During the hours that I am painting, guest will come up to my table, sign their name on my list, and then have their photo taken. They can then go back to partying! It takes me 5-10 minuets to paint each couple, and once they are completed I set them out on display and then guests can come back anytime to pick them up!
Once booked, we'll discuss the details you want in your painting, such as the scene and people to include. About a month before your wedding, I'll send a questionnaire and schedule a call to finalize details. On your wedding day, I'll arrive 2-3 hours before the ceremony to start painting. I'll capture a reference photo during key moments like the first kiss or dance. I'll paint throughout the ceremony and reception, then complete the painting in my studio. The turnaround time for delivery is 8-10 weeks.

I bring all of my supplies with me! I have an easel, a case with my painting supplies, and a rug for underneath my easel. My setup requires about a 4 ft x 4 ft space. All I need from your venue is a place to paint!
